Ursula has been Director of British Medical Contact lens Association (BCLA) trading company and Trustee to BCLA charity between 2011-14 as well as Examiner for the Contact lens Module at City University, London.

She has been President Medical Contact Lens and Ocular Surface Association (MCLOSA) in 1995/96 and Vorstand of the ECLSO from 2002 to 2008.

She has been involved with teaching at all stages of her career. She has organised and facilitated many courses and conferences. As an ophthalmologist and contact lens specialist in private practice with 30 years NHS experience (Imperial College London) she has gained extensive knowledge in ophthalmology and contactology.

Contact lens teaching and delivering outstanding patients’ care have always been her priority.
